Booting TeaLinuxOS from a VMs

Running TeaLinuxOS in a virtual machine is a convenient way to try or use the system without changing your current OS. For the best experience, we recommend configuring your VM with the following settings:

# Steps to Boot TeaLinuxOS in a VM

  1. Create a new virtual machine using your preferred virtualization software (e.g., VirtualBox or VMware).
  2. Set the Memory (RAM) to at least 4096 MB.
  3. Assign 2 or more CPU cores for better performance.
  4. Under Display settings:
    - Enable 3D Acceleration.
    - Set Video Memory to 128 MB or more.
  5. Attach the TeaLinuxOS ISO as a virtual optical disk.
  6. Start the virtual machine.
  7. Follow the instructions on the screen to boot into TeaLinuxOS.
  8. These settings will ensure a smoother experience, especially when using more visually rich desktop environments like Cosmic or KDE.
